Kentuckians schedule your COVID-19 Vaccine!

I strongly encourage everyone to get their COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. Let's get back to normal; this pandemic has already claimed far too many lives. Click here to schedule your vaccine or find a location near you.

ABOUT JORDAN PALMER:  From protesting former Governor Fletcher and later Representative Fischer for saying "gays had not suffered enough", sponsoring a Soulforce Equality Ride, forcing school boards to allow Gay-Straight Alliances, rallying at Northern Kentucky University and the Hazard Pavilion, forcing policy changes, organizing Kentucky's 1st Gay Marriage License Day, assisting in restoring KADAP, to successfully pushing the 1st Federal Hate Crime convictions in U.S. History, to having Kentucky's same-sex marriage ban struck down by a Kentucky judge months before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the issue in Kentucky Equality Federation v Commonwealth of Kentucky (based solely on Palmer's legal theory). His accomplishments speak for themselves and his impact on Kentucky history, undeniable.

Jordan Palmer also fought Prop 8 in the state of California.

Jordan Palmer on Texas lawsuit; states suing each other. U.S. Supreme Court ruling

DECEMBER 11, 2020 -
Texas claims its voters’ constitutional rights are being violated by the election-rule changes in the other four states. Legally, citizens do NOT elect the president of our Union; the several States do. Had the #SCOTUS heard this case, any State could have sued for laws they don't like. This would have been a pandora's box; for example, if #California didn't like the #abortion limits in #Kentucky, they could have sued Kentucky to permit partial-birth abortions, etc. Can you imagine a state suing another state for its legalization of cannabis?

What the U.S. Supreme Court is saying here is that we are a #Union of many sovereign States, and it is NOT the business nor the place of other #States to decide what is and is not legal in that State, such as expanded voting, who may vote, what can revoke your right to vote, gun control, trespassing laws, criminal codes, etc. you cannot open a legal door without accepting the flood gates it opens. Plus, no one has proven that any fraud occurred, and if it did, what about States that Trump won? What if California decided to sue Texas, etc., because they didn't like the way Texas citizens voted?

The only "fraud" is conjecture, not proof, and if it occurred in one State, it occurred in all of them.

Look at the Fifth Amendment; it says to the federal government that "no one shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law." Did you catch that? It says no ONE. It does NOT say "no citizen," which is why the deportation of illegal aliens has been halted.

We will not have a civil war because a former reality TV star claims afraid and websites in #China, #Russia, and #Iran are playing us against each other. I dislike this two-party system. But there is nothing stopping anyone from starting another political part (most other States have them).

Jordan Palmer on wearing masks in public

I don’t understand this public defiance about a simple mask. The mask is to protect others, not you. Lots of people pretend to be Christian, but they don’t live the life, if they did, COVID-19 would be in-check. A mask isn’t a difficult thing.

The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” - Mark 12:31

Nationalism has failed us says activist Jordan Palmer

A lot of people are pointing fingers at others right now about COVID-19. If only that would save lives. It will not. We are in this and no one thinking to thank the United Nations #WHO, the U.S. #CDC, or your #State and #local #HealthDepartments that this is the first major disruption to our lives in generations. I personally thank you!

Jordan Palmer on strength and being a victim

My strength comes from within me. I have never been a victim. From being molested, being beaten for gay rights, to having cancer, I am not a victim and I never will be.... I’ve just never had the time to spare. ❌ You can’t complain or feel sorry for yourself. ๐Ÿคจ Enduring hardships and deciding not to surrender is strength. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Never allow anything to define you and make you a victim..... forgive, forget, and move forward. ๐Ÿ˜˜ I completely lock something away in my mind and give it no further thought. I am always ready to move on and leave anyone or anything behind that isn’t positive or good for me. ☯️ I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong and always being optimistic. ♥️✝️

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls..... the greatest of these; the largest characters are seared with scars. ♥️๐Ÿ˜˜ - All the best to anyone reading this.

Col. Jordan Palmer on being a gay teenager in Kentucky

When it sunk in that being gay could get you beat or put on the street, I realized that I had to listen to MY voice, MY soul. Today, it saddens me that too many people listen to the noise of the world, instead of themselves. I broke every rule and I'm proud of it because I did it in a positive manner, with no ill will for anyone. ❤️ I never bothered with who hated me as a result, even when that person turned out to be my Dad. ๐Ÿคท‍♂️ I purged myself of what others thought of me when I was a child. The Creator was with me the entire time. ✝️ It brings tears to my eyes when I see people hung up on what others think of them. ๐Ÿ˜ข
No one can make you "feel" something about yourself unless you give them that power. No one can stop you except you. ๐Ÿ˜˜ No matter what happens, keep going.

Kentucky's War on Drug Addiction

© and ™ jordanpalmer.us
"More police ๐Ÿš”. More jails ๐Ÿ‘ฎ. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The joke is on us. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿป‍♂️ Drug abuse is a mental health issue, not a criminal one. ๐Ÿ’Š๐Ÿ’‰ People turn to drugs not because they want to be addicts, but because something is horribly wrong and they simply don’t wish to feel it anymore. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ž I’ve never met an addict who on career day at school “dreamed” of being an addict like U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan “dreamed” of taking #Medicare and #Medicaid from citizens. ⚠️๐Ÿ˜ก
Putting drug addicts in jail is like putting people who have an illness and need medical care in jail and simply ignoring the underlying problem. But why not? We’ve been doing it this long and we never change anything here unless ordered to do so by the Kentucky Supreme Court or the Supreme Court of the United States. Sadly, that is how progress is made here." - Jordan Palmer

Trump should listen to a true war hero, Senator John McCain

When a TRUE war HERO like U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) or a longtime conservative like U.S. Senator  Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) criticize this sudden and ill-conceived decision towards Transgender soldiers, you have to scratch your head.

Also, when Trump said "my generals," our military is not the private property of the temporary occupant of the Oval Office

But, everything else Trump has tried to do has failed miserably so now he is taking cheap shots in desperation but playing with people's lives and careers not to mention breaking additional campaign promises. #Trans #WeAreKY - Jordan Palmer

#Trans #KY #USA #USMilitary President #Trump betrays transgender community

#Trans #KY #USA #USMilitary President #Trump has, once again, betrayed the #LGBTI community he claimed to support during his campaign. In a stream of tweets, President Donald Trump announced this morning that he has banned transgender people from the US #military. Trans people were allowed to serve openly before Trump’s decision to force currently serving military members out of the armed forces.

--> Please note this decision notes NOT apply to State Defense Forces , State Militias, or State National Guard units.

Yesterday, it was reported that Vice President Mike #Pence, long a foe of civil rights for #LGBT people, was behind the push to discriminate against transgender people. Unsuccessful so far at getting Trump to issue a “religious freedom” executive order reminiscent of his disastrous broad license to discriminate he pushed through as #Indiana #governor, Pence turned his attention to lobbying for the ban on transgender people in the military.

“Instead of undermining the military, and disgracefully trying to take away necessary health care from soldiers, Vice President #Pence should be working to ensure all federal armed forces and their families are getting the support and resources they need and deserve, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Vice President #Pence definitely has some unresolved homosexual, transgender, and transsexual issues he needs to come to terms with.” - Secretary-General Col. Jordan Palmer.
