Nationalism has failed us says activist Jordan Palmer

A lot of people are pointing fingers at others right now about COVID-19. If only that would save lives. It will not. We are in this and no one thinking to thank the United Nations #WHO, the U.S. #CDC, or your #State and #local #HealthDepartments that this is the first major disruption to our lives in generations. I personally thank you!

The federal government, legally, CANNOT issue a national lockdown or "stay at home order". We still have rule of law in our Union and like it or not, the States share joint sovereignty.

However, chief executives [governors] in states who have not issued "stay at home orders" are killing people, deliberately.

Col. Palmer is Secretary-General of the Southern Kentucky Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels (also knows as the Southern Kentucky Brigade of Kentucky Colonels).

Col. Palmer is the Secretary-General of the Kentucky Equality Federation and its member organizations, including Kentucky Equal Ballot Access, etc.

Col. Palmer is the Principal Liasion at the United Nations for the United States Midwest for ILGA.

Col. Jordan Bowling Palmer has been in active in civil rights and a public advocate for over a decade.

--> From protesting former Governor Fletcher and later Representative Fischer for saying "gays had not suffered enough", sponsoring a Soulforce Equality Ride, forcing school boards to allow Gay-Straight Alliances, rallying at Northern Kentucky University and the Hazard Pavilion, forcing policy changes, organizing Kentucky's 1st Gay Marriage License Day, assisting in restoring KADAP, to successfully pushing the 1st Federal Hate Crime convictions in U.S. History, to having Kentucky's same-sex marriage ban struck down by a Kentucky judge months before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the issue in Kentucky Equality Federation v Commonwealth of Kentucky (based solely on Palmer's legal theory). His accomplishments speak for themselves and his impact on Kentucky history, undeniable.

Jordan Palmer also fought Prop 8 in the state of California.
