Jordan Palmer on strength and being a victim

My strength comes from within me. I have never been a victim. From being molested, being beaten for gay rights, to having cancer, I am not a victim and I never will be.... I’ve just never had the time to spare. ❌ You can’t complain or feel sorry for yourself. ๐Ÿคจ Enduring hardships and deciding not to surrender is strength. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Never allow anything to define you and make you a victim..... forgive, forget, and move forward. ๐Ÿ˜˜ I completely lock something away in my mind and give it no further thought. I am always ready to move on and leave anyone or anything behind that isn’t positive or good for me. ☯️ I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong and always being optimistic. ♥️✝️

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls..... the greatest of these; the largest characters are seared with scars. ♥️๐Ÿ˜˜ - All the best to anyone reading this.

Jordan Palmer gave an update on his health status; he is the most gracious person I have ever known

Yesterday, Jordan Palmer gave an update on his health status, he currently remains Stage IV(b):

Later today I finish #radiation. Still on the new #cancer pills. ๐Ÿ’Š Tuesday I have a PET Scan to see what other #radiation and treatments I need or if additional treatment (in their opinion, if I don't agree, I find another doctor, I'm on my 7th one) will be beneficial. ๐Ÿค’ ๐Ÿค•

Earlier this week I thought I would die, I had these huge #bumps on my #forehead and I got very #sick. ๐Ÿคข So my doctor says, you have a massive sinus infection and that's what those bumps are on your forehead and another reason why you feel so bad. ๐Ÿ˜– I had no clue this was even possible!

On June 09, 2017, Jordan Palmer updated with:

I've fallen ๐Ÿค• more times that I can count because my right leg is so weak from the #cancer treatments. I've fallen down the stairs at home twice and hurt my back but I'm not complaining. My doctors, ๐Ÿฅ even at Cancer Treatment Centers of America say that my mobility loss is permanent. I'll have a cane. I wish my friend Matthew Vanderpool was here with me. He would never leave my side and I miss him so much. ๐Ÿณ️‍๐ŸŒˆ Kentucky Equality Federation keeps me busy. I would suggest following him on Facebook or Twitter.

MY THOUGHTS AS MODERATOR / DIRECTOR: Knowing Jordan Palmer and working with him is such an honor. He is the most gracious person I have ever known. I will continue to volunteer and continue to work as my time permits and pray for a miracle for him.

My best to everyone. - Damon ๐Ÿ’“

Kentucky Equality Federation to donate funds to founder Jordan Palmer's oral reconstruction fight (oral tumors) until Friday, January 20, 2017

Kentucky Equality Federation to donate funds to founder Jordan Palmer's oral reconstruction fight (oral tumors) until Friday, January 20, 2017:

Col. Jordan Bowling Palmer, CHA, CP, JD, has been active in civil rights and a public advocate for over a decade.

--> From protesting former Governor Fletcher and later Representative Fischer for saying "gays had not suffered enough", sponsoring a Soulforce Equality Ride, forcing school boards to allow Gay-Straight Alliances, rallying at Northern Kentucky University and the Hazard Pavilion, forcing policy changes, organizing Kentucky's 1st Gay Marriage License Day, assisting in restoring KADAP, to successfully pushing the 1st Federal Hate Crime convictions in U.S. History, to having Kentucky's same-sex marriage ban struck down by a Kentucky judge months before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the issue in Kentucky Equality Federation v Commonwealth of Kentucky (based solely on Palmer's legal theory). His accomplishments speak for themselves and his impact on Kentucky history, undeniable.

Jordan Palmer also fought Prop 8 in the state of California.

Written by Damon T. Jones, Communications Director to Secretary-General Palmer.

November 22, 2016: On Saturday two teeth fell out when I was eating. On Monday, I went to the dentist for X-Rays. I have to have oral surgery again (as I did in 2004). I have tumors again under Tooth # 18, and # 19 and definitely portions of my jaw line. They will cut them out (the teeth and sections of my left jawline) and like before, it will be sent for biopsy to see if the tumors are malignant or nonmalignant.

My thanks and love to everyone. I have been through this before, I just didn't think oral tumors would be a problem. So as my Mom and my Granny Ella Ruth Begley-Bowling taught us, prepare for the worst, but remain positive and pray for the best.

December 29, 2016 Update: The closer it gets to January 5th and the surgery to have these tumors removed, the more I just want it to be done with the biopsy results. But, no such luck, I won't get the biopsy results for another couple of days (or someone will, with all the medication I will be on I doubt I will remember my name).

January 05, 2017 Update:  They stopped the blood flow to Jordan's mouth (I didn't know they could do that) and cut incisions on the side of his gums and inserted antibiotics because it is infected so they could not do everything they needed to do. They also took a biopsy of the tumors and then had to stop because no one told us we had to have money today.

The tumors are still there, but they have not got much bigger which is good. But are have to remove part of his jaw bone and replace it with cow bone so he can talk and also look about the same as he did before, but we have to have $2,400.00 (corrected from my mistake of $400.00 earlier, I forgot to put the 2 in front) when they remove the tumors Monday. Jordan is in a lot of pain.

Basically his insurance will pay for some type of obvious steel instead of cow bone because that is considered "cosmetic". - William Mason-Palmer (husband)

Our differences

We are all basically the same, but our differences make us susceptible to definition rather than our similarities because "people see what they want to see." Release the rights and the wrongs of your life; forgive yourself and forgive others.... never permit yourself to follow the impulses of fear, anger, or revenue. Be with me, your friends, your family, etc. in the present moment..... once it has passed, it will never come again. Always remember that your life is limited, so make the best of it.

Col. Jordan Palmer says to make it epic

When everything is said and done, the only thing to do is move forward in a positive direction. Surround yourself with positive energy and make the moves you need to be happy. People are going to take the role of God into their own hands and judge you anyway, so make it epic..... make it worth gossiping about.

History has shown that I typically take the path of most resistance, but I never bent my knee to injustice, ran from someone in need, or gave a second thought as to how others would judge me.

Even when I bite off more than I could chew, I took the blows and continued forward. Make sure you are strong enough to do the same, and remember, life is only rewarding when you realize your true potential and the beautify of your own dreams. So again, make it epic!

Col. Jordan Palmer gives personal update

To those who have taken advantage of me and/or tried to tear me down, just remember, I'm a Leslie County Bowling / Begley, I'm Jordan Palmer (legally, Jordan Bowling Palmer). I may be bruised but I am not broken.
My message is that I forgive you, but I'm simply not in the mood to indulge you anymore.

When I decide I want something I make it happen. I have goals and now that this is behind me, I am going full speed ahead.

My dream of the future

I pray that one day we will live on a planet where no one will condemned because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender, the color of their skin, nor any other "label" or "characteristic" used to separate or place judgement on innocent people by society. Perhaps 2014 will bring us closer to that goal in the hearts and minds of everyone. To obtain this goal however we will also have to work on ourselves.

As I have stated before:
