Trump should listen to a true war hero, Senator John McCain

When a TRUE war HERO like U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) or a longtime conservative like U.S. Senator  Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) criticize this sudden and ill-conceived decision towards Transgender soldiers, you have to scratch your head.

Also, when Trump said "my generals," our military is not the private property of the temporary occupant of the Oval Office

But, everything else Trump has tried to do has failed miserably so now he is taking cheap shots in desperation but playing with people's lives and careers not to mention breaking additional campaign promises. #Trans #WeAreKY - Jordan Palmer

#Trans #KY #USA #USMilitary President #Trump betrays transgender community

#Trans #KY #USA #USMilitary President #Trump has, once again, betrayed the #LGBTI community he claimed to support during his campaign. In a stream of tweets, President Donald Trump announced this morning that he has banned transgender people from the US #military. Trans people were allowed to serve openly before Trump’s decision to force currently serving military members out of the armed forces.

--> Please note this decision notes NOT apply to State Defense Forces , State Militias, or State National Guard units.

Yesterday, it was reported that Vice President Mike #Pence, long a foe of civil rights for #LGBT people, was behind the push to discriminate against transgender people. Unsuccessful so far at getting Trump to issue a “religious freedom” executive order reminiscent of his disastrous broad license to discriminate he pushed through as #Indiana #governor, Pence turned his attention to lobbying for the ban on transgender people in the military.

“Instead of undermining the military, and disgracefully trying to take away necessary health care from soldiers, Vice President #Pence should be working to ensure all federal armed forces and their families are getting the support and resources they need and deserve, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Vice President #Pence definitely has some unresolved homosexual, transgender, and transsexual issues he needs to come to terms with.” - Secretary-General Col. Jordan Palmer.

Jordan Palmer gave an update on his health status; he is the most gracious person I have ever known

Yesterday, Jordan Palmer gave an update on his health status, he currently remains Stage IV(b):

Later today I finish #radiation. Still on the new #cancer pills. 💊 Tuesday I have a PET Scan to see what other #radiation and treatments I need or if additional treatment (in their opinion, if I don't agree, I find another doctor, I'm on my 7th one) will be beneficial. 🤒 🤕

Earlier this week I thought I would die, I had these huge #bumps on my #forehead and I got very #sick. 🤢 So my doctor says, you have a massive sinus infection and that's what those bumps are on your forehead and another reason why you feel so bad. 😖 I had no clue this was even possible!

On June 09, 2017, Jordan Palmer updated with:

I've fallen 🤕 more times that I can count because my right leg is so weak from the #cancer treatments. I've fallen down the stairs at home twice and hurt my back but I'm not complaining. My doctors, 🏥 even at Cancer Treatment Centers of America say that my mobility loss is permanent. I'll have a cane. I wish my friend Matthew Vanderpool was here with me. He would never leave my side and I miss him so much. 🏳️‍🌈 Kentucky Equality Federation keeps me busy. I would suggest following him on Facebook or Twitter.

MY THOUGHTS AS MODERATOR / DIRECTOR: Knowing Jordan Palmer and working with him is such an honor. He is the most gracious person I have ever known. I will continue to volunteer and continue to work as my time permits and pray for a miracle for him.

My best to everyone. - Damon 💓

#SB17 #weareky #medicaid: Senate Bill 17 will never withstand judicial review

Earlier today Jordan Palmer completed an interview with the Lexington Herald-Leader about Senate Bill 17 and posted the following on his personal and public Facebook accounts:

#SB17 ☎️ opposed by me and Kentucky Equality Federation, and there is no way it would withstand judicial review (court), but Governor Matt Bevin decided to waste your tax dollars ✅ and signed it into law anyway. 🤸‍♀️🍻 My comments, etc. are in the link below. 🤔 #weareky #kyequality

Also, if you truly want to save #money 🤑 #Governor, then appoint the Vice/Lt. Governor to also be the Secretary of a Cabinet she is qualified to lead instead of just sitting in #Frankfort and drawing a #salary for doing nothing since the Lieutenant Governor is no longer the ex officio #President of the #Senate anymore.

Don't preach to me about cutting #Medicare and #Medicaid when you have someone drawing $200,000 a year for simply having a pulse! 😡 💰 - Jordan Palmer

#KY #KYGA16: Wasting taxpater dollars for so-called religious freedom - Jordan Palmer

Representatives and senators in Frankfort and the District of Columbia continue to act in the name of so-called "religious freedom" and wasting tax dollars. When is the last time you heard of members of a religious belief they could not assemble? How about a church being closed by the state? Our representatives and senators are twisting religion to further their own political agenda with yet another “religious freedom bill”. The constitution of this Commonwealth guarantees religious freedom, but not a license to discriminate.

Donald Trump's three (3) abortion positions

I don't believe in backing off an issue to win an election, it lacks moral character (regardless of your belief). However, Donald Trump changed his mind once per hour on abortion on Wednesday. I remain beyond amazed that people continue to support a candidate who doesn't know the issues or lacks the moral courage to stand by his comments. Another issue is that the fight for women's healthcare isn't new. Republicans have attacked Planned Parenthood for years, completely discounting the lifesaving services the group provides to millions of women.
